"Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated Thursday that at least six countries were in talks with the Zionist entity to move their embassies to the occupied city of al-Quds.

Netanyahu: At Least 6 Countries In ‘Serious’ Talks To Move Embassies To Al-Quds

Netanyahu implored countries to follow the United States and Guatemala in making the move, claiming it would advance so-called ‘peace' efforts, and promised "preferential treatment" to the first ten embassies relocated to the occupied holy city.

"We're happy about [US] President [Donald] Trump's decision to move the embassy here," Netanyahu told foreign diplomats.

"I am happy to say there are at least half-a-dozen countries seriously talking with us about relocating their embassies to Jerusalem [al-Quds], and thank you Guatemala for doing so. There will be more following in your steps," Netanyahu said, without identifying the countries.

Trump vowed to move the US embassy to the occupied holy city last December, when he also formally recognized al-Quds as the Zionist entity's so-called ‘capital'. In January, he announced that the process would be expedited and a new facility would open in May, to coincide with the establishment of the occupation entity.
