The recent developments in Syria made Egypt concerned, Bassam Rady said in a televised interview.

Egypt does not support militia in Syria and is against its disintegration, he said.

Commenting on the recent tripartite aggression on Syria, he said, "We were not informed of the attack."

Meanwhile, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry earlier said that Cairo is after preserving the interests of Syrians and also finding a political solution.

The recent attack on Syria brought no results and such strikes just cause complexity in the crisis, develop terrorism and blow a deal to the legitimate government of Syria, Shoukry said, adding that Egypt has always been after maintaining integration of Syria and is against military solutions.

Elaborating on the allegations as regard chemical attack in Douma, he said, "We have no information in this regard."

For his part, Algeria had criticized the tripartite air strikes against Syria, Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia said on Saturday.

"Algeria can only regret the strikes," Ouyahia told reporters.

He added that it was necessary to wait for the findings of an investigation into the alleged chemical attack before taking any steps.

The US together with its allies, the UK and France targeted the Syrian capital city of Damascus early Saturday.

US, British and French forces struck Syria with more than 100 missiles on Saturday, targeting what they called chemical weapons sites in retaliation for an alleged poison gas attack.
