Zionist settlement of Sderot targeted with nine missiles -- statement

GAZA- Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization, claimed responsibility on Wednesday for launching a new salvo of missiles at the southern 'Israeli' settlement of Sderot early today.
The offshoot faction said in a statement its units of rocketeers launched, early this morning, nine "Quds" missiles at Sderot, located northeastern Gaza Strip. This attack came 24 hours after 'Israeli' and Palestinian leaders reached an agreement on enforcing a truce, due to be in effect early on Thursday.
"This attack is in retaliation for 'Israeli' crimes against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip," it said.
Quds missile is one of a variety of short-range rockets, fabricated by the Palestinian factions from local materials.
