The Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned Saudi Arabia of Tehran's might.

He further commented on the Yemeni missile into Saudi Arabia, as well as Tehran's relations with Riyadh.

Rouhani addressed the Saudi leadership by saying: "People more powerful than you have been unable to do anything against the Iranian people."

According to Rouhani, "the Yemeni missile targeting Saudi Arabia was a reaction to aggression."

"What should the Yemeni nation do in response to this level of bombardment of its country? They are told not to use their own weapons. Well, stop the bombing and see whether or not the Yemeni nation responds positively. You do not allow delivery of medicine, food and UN assistance to the Yemenis. Is what you are doing reasonable and Islamic?"

The Iranian leader has also called Saudi Arabia belief in Iran being its "enemy," while considering the US and "Israel" its "friends" a "strategic mistake."

"The United States and their allies have mobilized all their capabilities against us and achieved nothing," Rouhani was quoted as saying by Tasnim news agency.

The Iranian leader's statement comes several days after Saudi Arabia intercepted a missile launched by the Ansarullah revolutionaries.

"Our path in the region is to establish and promote stability; we want the geographic borders not to change, nations decide for themselves and bombardments and aggressions against the nations in the region are stopped," he added.

Rouhani pointed to the allegations about Iran's interference in the regional countries, adding that such claims come while the Islamic republic has been fighting terrorism in Iraq and Syria upon the request of those countries.

The Iranian president pointed to the track record of the US and "Israeli" schemes against the regional countries, saying, "The hegemonic [states] plunder the oil and wealth of the region and, in return, they sell their different weapons to fan the flames."
