Allied Ops Room Cmdr.: Deir Ez-Zor Victory Delayed Due to «Int’l Coalition» Protection of Terrorism

The Commander of the operations room in the Syrian Army's allied forces accused the so-called "international coalition" led by the United States, of conspiring and hindering the progress of the Syrian forces and their allies in Deir ez-Zor, announcing the allocation of the Wahhabi Daesh [Arabic acronym for "ISIS" / "ISIL"] leaders in a suspicious project being prepared elsewhere.

The operations room commander had pledged to the Syrian people and its leadership to continue fighting shoulder to shoulder with the Syrian army, stressing that victory which is worthy of such life-loving people is very near.

The commander commented on the rapid military and security developments on the Syrian arena, especially with regard to Deir ez-Zor and lifting the siege on it as saying:

First: The liberation of Deir ez-Zor would not have been delayed if the so-called "international coalition" led by the US had not launched air raids against the Syrian Army forces previously present in the city. Accordingly, the raids contributed in the expansion of the Wahhabi Daesh and its attempt to fully control the city, in addition to hindering the progress of the Syrian Arab Army.

Second: The dear Syrian people must know that the reason behind the delay of these victories is the direct and indirect support of America and the so-called "international coalition" forces for armed extremist terrorist in addition to foreign intervention. The aforementioned caused the complication that the Syrian Arab army and its allies had suffered, leading to the delay of many of the advances in various fronts due to the support provided to Daesh.

Third: The involvement of the coalition, led by the US and this criminal organization is affirmed by documents. They have over the past months transferred a large number of Daesh leaders and officials outside conflict areas, in a suspicious project being prepared elsewhere.

Consequently, the latest documents proving America's involvement in supporting extremist armed groups was the testimony of Daesh prisoners regarding American support for the group and its supporters.

Fourth: What paved the ground for these great victories despite the difficult and bitter years Syria and its people had gone through is the patience of the Syrian people and the legendary steadfastness of the Syrian Arab Army, in addition to the wisdom of its leadership and the support of Syria's friends.

Fifth: In this battle, the friends of Syria and their allies hand-in-hand with the Syrian Arab Army had not only sought to liberate the land, as much as they aimed to liberate man and society; those good people who have suffered dearly and have sacrificed lives and blood while remaining steadfast in their land.

Sixth: We congratulate the Syrian people and their leadership for these great victories. We vow to continue fighting shoulder to shoulder with the Syrian Arab Army. As allies of Syria, we are committed to the decisions of the Syrian state, which we respect and appreciate. We tell the Syrian people that we see victory very soon. It is a victory fit for such a life-loving people.
