Hezbollah: US Planes Preventing Daesh Buses from Reaching Deir Ez-Zor

Hezbollah issued the following statement:

Until this hour, US planes are preventing buses carrying militants and their families- who have left the area under the control of the Syrian government- from moving.

They're besieging them in the middle of the desert.

Furthermore, they are also preventing anyone from reaching them, even to provide humanitarian assistance to families, the sick, the wounded and the elderly. If the current situation continues, these families, including some pregnant women, are waiting for the imminent death.

In front of this reality, we would like to comment by the following:

First, the Syrian state and Hezbollah have fulfilled their obligation to make the buses cross from the Syrian government controlled areas without assaulting them. The rest of the six buses, which are still within the areas of the Syrian government, remain in the circle of commitment and guardianship.

Second, what the Americans are justifying their stance with, that they do not want to allow the militants to reach Deir al-Zour area, and that they are serious in fighting Daesh is totally contradicted by their well-known assistance these days to more than 1,000 militants, especially foreigners, fleeing the city of Tal Afar to Kurdish areas in Northern Iraq.

This confirms that the American goal of this act is something else that has nothing to do with fighting Daesh.

Thirdly, if these buses are bombed, which will inevitably kill civilians, women, children and the elderly or expose them to the inevitable death as a result of the siege imposed on them and the denial of aid to them, the Americans alone are responsible.

Faced with these possibilities, the so-called international community and institutions must intervene to prevent a terrible massacre.
