Iran President Ahmadinejad felicitates Hizbullah leader Nasrallah on new president

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad felicitated election of Michel Suleiman as the new Lebanese President in a telephone contact with Hizbullah leader, Hassan Nasrallah, on Monday.
Lebanon's parliament on Sunday elected army commander General Michel Suleiman as president.
All political parties of Lebanon have agreed to back General Suleiman as part of a deal reached in Doha, Qatar on May 21.
Based on the agreement, the opposition will have the power of veto in a new cabinet of national unity.
President Ahmadinejad hoped that God would always bless the people and government of Lebanon. Nasrallah appreciated Iran's support for the agreement and said enemies of the Lebanese nation are currently in a weak position.
