The Bahrainis continue to pay the price for their rightful revolution, being exposed to all kinds of torture and deprivation by the brutal Al Khalifah regime forces.

Relatively, an arbitrary detentions campaign still throws citizens behind bars regardless to the basic medical and human rights. Many of them suffer from their wounds, while others are raised as martyrs.

In this regard, young Mustafa Hamdan was martyred on Friday after his health deteriorated following the wounds in his head during a regime forces raid against the citizens supporting top opposition leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim in his hometown of Diraz.

Hamdan, who was injured on January 26, was facing critical health condition, his family said. His body was lacking oxygen and the level of CO2 in his blood was increasing. Consequently, his head turned bluish and started to get swollen.

In the same context, the Jaw Prison administration has been preventing detainee Ahmed Mirza from receiving medical treatment at the hospital since more than 10 months.

Rights groups noted that Mirza suffers from health problems and is in urgent need to receive medical care and visit the hospital to undergo a surgery.

Anti-regime protesters have held demonstrations in Bahrain on an almost daily basis ever since a popular uprising began in the kingdom on February 14, 2011.

Protesters are demanding that the Al Khalifah dynasty relinquish power and a just system representing all Bahrainis be established.

On March 14, 2011, troops from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were deployed to Bahrain to assist Manama in its crackdown on peaceful protesters. Since then, scores of people have lost their lives and hundreds of others have sustained injuries or been arrested.
