Hezbollah Hails Martyrdom of Palestinian Activist Basel Al-Araj

Hezbollah issued the following statement:

Hezbollah praises the martyrdom of Palestinian activist Basel al-Araj who combined words with blood. Araj had offered lessons in transforming words into actions against the Zionist enemy trying to uproot and denationalize Palestinians.

The group further condemns this martyr hero's monstrous murder at the hands of the occupation forces in the besieged West Bank city of al-Bireh, who desecrated his body by firing several rounds of ammunition after his killing; an act which bears witness to the enemy's cruelty upon those who call for resistance against the occupiers.

The martyrdom of Araj is a testimony to the Palestinians' resolute clinging to the resistance and their willingness to face the "Israeli" attempts of obliterating their existence from history.

The late hero had contributed extensively in rooting the history of this living nation, as he documented its continuous fight against the usurpers.

Hezbollah pays condolences to martyr Araj's family and the Palestinian people for their loss as it also hails his martyrdom.

The group asserts the necessity to provide support by all means possible to the Resistance spirits in occupied Palestine to offer them a chance to honorably partake in the complete liberation of the land from sea to river and get rid of the "Israeli" nightmare.
