Saudi-led Mercenaries Commit New Massacre in Yemen’s Taiz

The mercenaries launched an artillery attack on a residential area and a popular market in Suftel neighborhood in Taiz, leaving over 50 locals martyred or wounded.

The massacre was committed few hours before the announced ceasefire in Yemen comes into effect tonight at 23:59 [Sana'a Time].

Deputy Director of the Health Bureau in Taiz confirmed that the number of victims caused by Saudi mercenaries bombarding Suftel market had raised to 24 killed and another 27 wounded.

He explained that some found dead bodies in Suftel market could not be identified yet.

Earlier on Friday, US-backed Saudi mercenaries committed another massacre by targeting populated neighborhoods.

Nearly 7 martyred and 11 of the wounded suffering severe injuries had arrived to Al Rafai hospital in Taiz, while dozens of victims are still at the incident's scene, source reports.

Rescue and recovery operations of victims are still taking place while the community launched an urgent appeal to save the wounded.

Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.

Thousands had been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive ex-president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
