The chairman of the Iranian Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, told Al-Ahed News that "Al Saud are abusing all possibilities in the region and the world on all levels against the Islamic Republic, in which they are funding the terrorist groups to target the Iranian people."

Asked about arresting terrorist groups backed by Saudi intelligence in Iran, Boroujerdi told Al-Ahed in an exclusive interview that "the terrorist groups that were recently arrested gave Iranian security officials valuable information on the Saudi role and support for them."

Regarding the new era of Iranian-Russian cooperation to combat terrorism, Boroujerdi stated that "the common operation rooms between the Islamic Republic of Iran, Russia, Syria and Iraq is located in Baghdad and Damascus, but when we find it is necessary to take bigger steps to fight terrorists, then we offer some facilities such as fueling Russian drones in the airbase of Hamadan west Iran," noting that Iran made the decision based on its national interests and security, and in support of the resistance front that combats terrorism nowadays.

As for the military operation in Aleppo, Boroujerdi noted that today, after five years, and as a result of resisting the American policies, we witness increase in the power of resistance front and a start in the collapse of Daesh and other terrorists in Iraq and Syria, adding that the power of the Syrian government and its allies exceeds that of the terrorists and their backers.

Boroujerdi further expected that the possible Iranian-Russian-Turkish alliance would be influential on the long term.
