Sayyed Nasrallah Holds Press Conference Thursday

Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah will hold a press conference on Thursday to declare the party's position over the decisions taken on Monday by the unconstitutional government of Fouad Saniora.
The announcement came in a statement issued on Tuesday by Hizbullah, in which the Lebanese party urged all Lebanese citizens to take part in Wednesday's general strike.
The statement said:
1- In support of rightful social and living demands raised by the General Federation of Labor Unions (GFLU) in Lebanon represented by the General Labor Union; due to the disregard by the unconstitutional government of Fouad Saniora of the exacerbating crisis and its effect on the people; rejecting the depreciation of the demands and rejecting weak and ineffective decisions, Hizbullah calls on all the Lebanese to take part in the various activities of the general strike on Wednesday. The stance should be an outcry in the face of the systematic breakdown this unconstitutional government has caused on both economic and social levels as well as on the level of people rights.
2- Hizbullah has decided to declare its position over the decisions taken on Monday by the unconstitutional government concerning the communications network of the resistance as well as airport security Chief Brigadier General Wafik Shkeir through a press conference for Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to be held Thursday May 8, 2008.
