"Israeli" warplanes targeted the Gaza Strip early Saturday, killing a child living near one of the claimed Hamas targets and injuring his sister, Gaza health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said.

Yasin Abu Khussa, 10, was martyred as the Zionist occupation forces conducted one of its four raids on what they claimed is a base of Hamas' military wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassem Brigades, at Beit Lahiya in the north of the strip.

Besides, his sister Yasmin, 6, was seriously wounded and their brother Ayoub, 13, suffered moderate injuries, al-Qudra told AFP.

Relatively, Hamas Leader Mushir al-Masri vowed tough retaliation against the Zionists once they conduct their threats against the strip.

"Our message to the occupation is that the Operation Protective Edge, the latest war on Gaza of 2014, isn't but a trip in comparison with the future confrontation."

The strikes came hours after four rockets fired from the Gaza Strip by Palestinian fighters hit the occupied territories Friday night without apparent casualties, the "Israeli" army claimed.

Since the end of the "Israeli" devastating war against the Gaza Strip in summer 2014, it was reported that the resistance approximately fired 34 missiles on targets in the occupied territories.
