Iranian Revolutionary Guard managed to hack the private computer used by a former "Israeli" chief of staff, the Zionist Channel 10 reported on Tuesday night.

According to the report, Iranian cyber hackers over the past year penetrated dozens of computers belonging to "Israelis", markedly senior security officials.

However, the extent of damage and withdrawn information remains unknown.

In a related context, Iran in recent years boasted of its cyber warfare capabilities and undoubtedly continued to make more advancements in the field.

According to the reported Channel 10 findings, hackers working for the Islamic Republic breached computers belonging to more than 1,800 individuals.

Relatively, the hacking operations targeted hundreds of "Israelis", primarily past and present senior officials.

The report noted that Zionist cyber experts claimed they were able to identify one negligent hacker working for Iran, Yasser Balachi, who mistakenly revealed his e-mail address.

In parallel, the report alleged that cyber activities stopped a few months ago when Iran realized that its operations had been exposed.

Nevertheless, the hackers managed to extract information in one of the latest instances of ongoing global cyber warfare.
