The head of al-Nusra Front, Abu Mohammad al-Joulany, mourned the death of al-Qaeda's deputy leader Nasser Wohayshi, in an audio message posted online yesterday; an incident that unveiled the close link between the two terrorist Takfiri groups.

Furthermore, Nasser al Wohayshi, who was killed in a US raid in Yemen, became al-Qaeda's second man in command in 2013 and was the head of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

In the message, Abu Mohammad al-Joulany urged his followers not to despair as he advised al-Wohayshi's successor to be cautious.

"Make use of your efforts, don't trust your enemies and be cautious; the leader is nothing but cautious," al-Joulany stressed in the audio lamentation as he spoke dearly of al-Wohayshi's death.

Consequently, al-Joulany‘s lamentation message falsified reports on al-Nusra's intention to break up with al-Qaeda that was promoted by some Gulf states including Saudi Arabia as a means to whitewash al-Nusra's image.
