Yemeni Tribes: We Pledge that We Are All Cooperators against Takfiris

A statement by Sheikh Aziz bin Hamad bin Mahzal al-Suqur on behalf of the Yemeni tribes of Yam and Wald Abdullah and the residents of Najran addressing the honorable tribes of Hamedan and Yemen and the great Yemeni people.

To all the honorable tribes of Hamadan and all the tribes of Yemen, and the great Yemeni people, May Allah guard them all. Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings...

No one in the entire world is unacquainted with the sedition, corruption, and bloodshed of innocent blood the Saudi regime perpetrated around the world since its establishment and is still perpetrating to this day of ours, and the oppressive aggression it launched on a dim night on neighboring Yemen and which is on its eightieth day today is but an evidence on that.

No rational human being is unaware of the killing, demolition, land, sea, and air siege, and starvation it is committing against you - O our brethrens - in Yemen, the country of history and civilization, the country of wisdom and faith. This is besides the flagrant intervention in your internal affairs for mere political and authoritative reasons. By doing so, it did not observe the right of Allah All Mighty, the right of neighborhood or any morals, norms, and humanity. The people of Saudi Arabia were taken aback by the aggression as were the people of Yemen, for this regime is not accustomed to consult anyone when taking its decisions.

The regime of sedition was not content by that. It rather transcended that and tried to drag the region of Najran to the war front and to fighting you - O their brethrens, neighbors, and cousins - through using several positions in Najran since the second week of the war for artillery shelling. It also made the name of Najran be increasingly mentioned in the broad headlines in the media to execute a sedative scheme to wreak an ordeal between brothers without observing or respecting the religious and tribal relations that link us. They did not observe in particular the blood and flesh relations that link us to our great grandfather Hamadan.

The Saudi regime did not observe all of that in a flagrant disavowing of all the agreements it inked with our grandfathers especially the primary agreement under the first Saudi state, the renewed second agreement under the second Saudi state, or the third and last agreement pursuant to which Najran joined the Saudi regime. It did not observe all of these agreements and betrayed all oaths it made before Allah and it was not deterred by religion or by morals.

The regime's betrayal of oaths is known by everyone, and with just going back to these agreements that would be revealed. Besides, the centralization of the army troops, the national guard troops, and Takfiri al-Qaeda cells which are polarized from several countries and their activity in the region of Najran reveal its dormant intention to use the national guard troops and al-Qaeda against our tribes in case they refused to join the war against their brethrens in Yemen in a clear message that it will not fail to use force to move forward in this horrible scheme.

Based on all the above-mentioned reasons, we have to take the decision that is required from us by our religious, tribal, human, and moral obligations towards you - O our brethrens who are aggressed on - and towards the people of the region of Najran alike. Accordingly, we announce on our behalf and on behalf of the free tribes of Yam and Wald Abdullah and the residents of Najran the following:

First: We totally object on the war and we consider it an oppressive aggression on the people of Yemen which is not accepted by Allah and his Prophet. Furthermore, we fully support the Yemenis' legitimate right to retaliate on the aggression and to restore their full rights.

Second: We view the Saudi Regime as a traitor who disavowed all the previous agreements with the Tribes of Yam and Wald Abdullah and the people of Najran and we hold it responsible for all the subsequent repercussions.

Third: We view all the various troops of the Saudi Regime which are centralized in Najran whether those partaking in the aggression on the state of Yemen or those directed against the people of Najran as occupying aggressing troops.

Fourth: As it is known for us and for everyone, the Saudi Regime seeks to evoke sectarian and factional ordeals in the various communities besides stirring wars. Thus, we make a pledge of peace from our side to all the sects, factions, and religions pursuant to the Ayah: [Indeed, those who have believed and those who were Jews or Sabians or Christians Whosoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and doeth right - there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve.] Allah had granted them peace; so who can rub them of that.

Thus we pledge Allah to advocate righteousness and its people and to be with righteousness wherever it is even if it was against us. We also pledge that we are all brothers and cooperators against those Takfiris and the sedition seekers of whatever sect who deem our blood and honor permissible. We appeal to our brethrens from all sects, factions, and parties to be aware and adopt this oath with both its clauses to bury the ordeal in its cradle and disclose the Takfiris and the owners of this corrupt intellect regardless of their sect and religion.

As for our brethrens the liberals of Najran, it's your duty to adopt this position, and your duty calls on you to unite, come together, abandon all disagreements, be aware of what is being woven against you, and be firm with whoever assists your enemy in its scheme or helps in agitating the ordeal and disagreement among you until the relieve of Allah is due, and it is due soon - God willing. We also appeal to everyone among you to pledge Allah and himself that everyone is his brethren, that he is with them in the same track, and that you would not disparage over your sects or by previous spite or ignorant fanaticism. We appeal on you to act justly among yourselves and make justice the starting point for all your deeds and orientations.

You have the same flesh and blood, you are comrades, and you share the same grandfather, land, honor, morals, and common fate. No one must interfere in you conviction or in your intellect as everyone's conviction and intellect is his right which concerns him and only him, and this must be respected; all would called to account by Allah as was the case of your ancestors who recorded you family name in history. Should you reveal your intentions and do that, expect the good tidings of victory, pride, and triumph - God willing.

Make a pledge that Najran of peace is your land and the land of your ancestors which must not be the object of greed for anyone. No one must conspire against it or betray it, and should anyone think of that, you and we are the unshielded sword against him pursuant to our oath to Allah and His Prophet. Pledge not to cooperate with the occupation and aggression troops. Pledge not to join them in any form of shedding the blood of our brethrens - the Yemenis. Be fully confident that they fear you because you are the people of the land and the people of conviction and because you kill the cowards among them. They awe you, and your awe is implanted in their hearts to the Day of Judgment.

O our people in Yemen! We announce this stance of ours while seeking only the reward of Allah All Mighty. By doing so, we are performing our duty towards you, and we are supporting righteousness and its people, following by that the orders of Allah All Mighty and his prophets and messengers [Peace be upon them] and moving in the track of our parents and ancestors. We will not be dissuaded by intimidation or terrorizing or worldly interests.

This aggression with such a magnitude and this oppressive coalition against you make it our duty before Allah and His creatures to take a truthful stand with you because we are confident that you would take this very stand with your brethrens in Yam and Wald Abdullah tribes were they in your place. We tell you that we are your brethrens. Our blood is yours; our enemy is yours; and we are with you with our souls and all what we own until you take your full revenge and get your right from the aggressor. We appeal to all our brethrens in the tribes of the south to shoulder their religious, tribal, and moral responsibility towards you because they are competent of that - God willing.

Allah will surely assist you and assist anyone who stands with the righteousness and supports it; Allah will surely redirect the plot of the wrongdoer to him. Peace be upon our Prophet Mohammad and on his chaste Household and chosen companions. Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings.

Your brethrens, the liberals of Yam and Wald Abdullah Tribes and the residents of Najran.
