Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman: KSA Sponsor for Terrorism

During a news conference in the Yemeni capital Sanaa, the Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier Sharaf Ghaleb Luqman addressed regional and international audience concerning the Saudi-led aggression on Yemen.

The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier declared that, the Saudi-led "aggression practiced is systematically destroying everything in Yemen."

He hoped that there was an Arab assemblage similar to the Saudi-led Arab coalition against the "Israeli" aggression.

Brigadier Luqman continued, "The country is under siege - ground, air and marine - in an attempt to carry out the main goal and that is to conquer Yemen and starve its people."

Hence, he confirmed that the "Yemeni army and Yemeni popular committees are the ones who will decide upon the time of response," and assured that the response would be strong, decisive and tough.

However, Luqman posed a question on the legitimacy of Saudi Arabia to talk about democracy noting that it is a monarchy inherited over centuries.

"Is Saudi Arabia a democratic state to talk about legitimacy, or is it a family stuck in the government's rule for two hundred years?" he asked.

Though the Yemeni Army spokesman pointed out that, Yemen "does not have any problem with the helpless Saudi people who are overwhelmed by the governing dictator family."

He added, "72 educational institutions were bombed in the aggression, including three schools whilst students were inside when they were pounded."

The spokesman indicated that "it became clear to the world that the sponsor of international terrorism is Saudi Arabia."

Henceforth, Luqman urged the Arabs "to guide the behavior of its leaders to serve both - the Arab and Islamic interests."

Further to the point, the spokesman explained that "Saudi Arabia buys armies through briberies." He expressed heartache towards Egypt's participation in the aggression.

Brigadier Luqman spoke of the obligation of the Yemeni army towards its people.

"The duty of the Yemeni army is to protect the Yemeni tribes in the face of aggression" he said pointing out to the "cowardly" Saudi forces that "are so gutless that they cannot stand up to our troops."
"Some battleships on the coast of Abyan had been hit and forced to retreat" he added.

Accordingly, Luqman designated that the Yemeni military units were steadfast and vowed the time they would be seen.

The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman concluded the news conference and declared, "We are about to purge the country of al-Qaeda."
