The "Israeli" army has detained 225 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and occupied East al-Quds since the beginning of October, a Palestinian NGO said on Monday.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners Society, "Israel" detained 70 Palestinians in Hebron; 46 in East Jerusalem; 24 in Bethlehem; 19 in Nablus; 17 in Ramallah; 11 in Jenin; and 11 in Tubas.
Other detentions took place in Salfit, Jericho and Qalqilya, it said.
Meanwhile, "Israeli" forces routinely conduct detention campaigns against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on claims that they are "wanted" by "Israeli" authorities.
Furthermore, over 7,000 Palestinians are currently languishing in prisons throughout "Israel", according to the Palestinian Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs.
