"Israeli" army spokesman Peter Lerner said on his Twitter account that, "Overnight, Amer Abu Aisha and Marwan Qawame... were killed in exchange of fire with" "Israel" War Forces.

For its part, the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, confirmed the "Israeli" attack, with its spokesman abroad, Hussam Barduan, saying: "Two members of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Amar Abu-Eisha and Marwan Kawasmeh, were martyred after a long life of sacrifice and giving."
"This is the way of the resistence and we follow in its wake step after step," Barduan added.

The June abduction of the three Zionist teenagers from a hitchhiking stop in the southern occupied West Bank sparked a huge "Israeli" arrest campaign in which more than 400 Palestinians were arrested and at many others brutally martyred, including teenager Mohammad Abu Khdeir who was burnt alive.

It also led to a surge in tensions that helped trigger the 50-day "Israeli" aggression on seized Gaza that began on June 7 until August 26.
