Little Maisy Vignes' is the first known case of someone born without a droplet of blood in her body and her progress has amazed doctors.
Four years after making a miraculous recovery, Maisy starts school and impresses teachers.
Medics were baffled when Maisy's entire blood supply was absorbed by her mother during pregnancy.
Emma Vignes, 31, absorbed all of her daughter's Maisy's blood during pregnancy in what is believed to be a medical first, leaving the baby - born six weeks premature - needing three blood transfusions during two weeks in intensive care.
Four-year-old Maisy Vignes' progress has amazed doctors who feared she would be left brain damaged after being starved of oxygen in her mother Emma's womb.
Despite fears that she would be left brain-damaged, Maisy, of Tramore in County Waterford, Ireland, has made a full recovery and is now impressing teachers at her primary school.
