The so-called "Daesh" [ISIL] extremist group has released a video game trailer loaded with explosions, combat scenarios and sniping, Arabic media report. The game, styling itself as a Grand Theft Auto adaptation, appears specifically aimed at young people.

According to the propaganda media wing of Daesh, the recruitment propaganda video trailer entitled "Saleel al-Sawarim" aimed to "raise the morale of the "mujahedin" and to train children and youth how to battle the West and to strike "terror" into the hearts of those who oppose [Daesh]."

"The content includes all of the organization's military tactics against its opponents," Daesh said.
However, the video appears to be just that - merely a trailer, and an actual playable version of the possible game has not been seen.

Throughout, the Daesh logo is displayed at the top of the screen.

The extremist video was released shortly after a new and recent propaganda footage entitled "Flames of War," which unfolds in a similar but movie-style way. Filled with blasts and explosions, it was considered a response to US President Obama's declaration that he would "degrade and ultimately destroy" it.

Recently in the past month, the extremist group has released three videos in which it has shown the beheadings of Westerners. It has also released videos that have attempted to recruit Westerners while others have glorified Daesh militants who have died in battle.
