Gaza In The War of Axes…What Will Iran Do?ust two days after the Supreme Guide of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Sayyed Ali Khamenei called to arming the Palestinians, the Commander of al-Quds Brigade, General Qassem Suleimani strongly entered on Gaza's line.
He said in an unprecedented frankness, "Removing the arms of the Resistance is daydreams and sheer heterodoxy." He warned, "We shall not hesitate at all to defend the Resistance." Before them, it was Hizbullah's Secretary General who uttered support for the Resistance. Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah had said that his party backed all the Resistance's factions without exception. And even before him, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad announced his siding by Palestine which remains the central cause.

What does all this mean, while Gaza is being subject to a Nazi holocaust par excellence?

Qassem Suleimani was the only one among the aforementioned who saluted Hamas Movement and al-Qassam Brigades. That was the first direct and public sign from the Resistance axis towards Hamas which Syria (just like Egypt) accuses of involvement in its internal war. It certainly maintains that until now, there is no evidence on this military implication.

The strong-worded speech of Suleimani, and that of Khamenei and Nasrallah before him, clearly expresses the alignment of the Resistance axis against the other states currently accused of facilitating "Israel's" mission to liquidate Hamas. It is Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and UAE ANS PERHAPS Jordan that are mainly meant. Suleimani showed no hesitation in lobbing accusation against Cairo, saying, "God damn all those who closed before you the supply ways and shared with the Zionists their revenues." This is a salient shift in the Iranian stance towards the regime of President Abdel Fattah Sisi. Suleimani also damned whoever keeps silent over that crime.

Lobbing the toughest diatribes to the US now is not just talk. It is clear enough that the Revolutionary Guard is addressing an out-and-out message to Barack Obama's administration, which is suspected by some to have covered "Israel's" holocaust this time as a price in the future of parleys between Iran and the West. The leaders of the Resistance axis sense as if what is happening in Gaza is tightly correlated to a bid to fuel the other hot pockets against them. Sayyed Nasrallah was clear in linking the "Israeli" war to that the ISIS had staged in Iraq. He succinctly said that this was the most dangerous stage ever since the occupation of Palestine. Suleimani used almost the same expression. He said, "Palestine is now the cutting edge between the right and the wrong."

In terms of the timing, the latter's message only came to probably something bigger that might have happened or was about to happen. After the Resistance remained steadfast in battered Gaza, "Israel" and its sponsors have no choice but to reoccupy the enclave. The era's criminal, Benjamin Netanyahu, can take no defeat; Around 60 officers and soldiers among the elite were killed. Losses are estimated at billions. "Israelis' lost faith in their army. Confidence between the army and the political institution is now shaky. The US-Israeli relation is now obfuscated due to the failure. All of the abovesaid leads to believe that "Israel" has truly become weaker than the network of the spider. Every several years, "Israel" has to deal with a worse defeat.

Also in terms of timing, Iran and its allies seek to recuperate the Sunni base in the Arab nation. This is a perfect moment at a time when ISIS is busy demolishing tombs and beheading people away from Palestine.

It is unknown where the Resistance axis will get to following the speech. There are certainly intertwining interests between Tehran, Turkey, Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Hamas Movement now. It is also certain that the other axis that comprises Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the US wants to limit initiatives to Cairo, and to exclude Tehran, Doha and Ankara. The first axis can prevail if it manages to prove that the Resistance is capable of carrying on hitting "Israel" and to reject weak political solutions that pave the way for ending the armed resistance and liquidating Hamas and the Islamic Jihad.

What's next?

Undoubtedly, Suleimani's words raised the political speech to the highest. The Resistance axis has out itself now in a totally embarrassing situation. It can't just talk to talk now, especially if "Israel" decides to invade the Strip. Until now, Hamas did not announce a frank return to the axis of the Resistance. On the exact contrary, the Movement publicly avoids to mention the role of Iran and Syria when it comes to its weaponry and armament. In counterpart, the Islamic Jihad Movement that is close to Tehran is more flexible regarding the Egyptian mediation.

So, are Suleimani words a harbinger on speeding up the political solutions, ending the war, and opening the passages? Or is the Resistance axis taking into account opening a front to back Gaza and change the equation?

It is logical to think of the first choice at the time. It is in nobody's interest to descend into a wide warfare in the region; but it is sure that Gaza war has become bigger than the enclave itself. It is drawing new and dangerous equations and alliances amid the US confusion and connivance, and the western blind following of Washington in supporting the holocaust of the era.

It is normal that this holocaust ends the political future of Netanyahu and tears the image of the "Israeli" army, which turned out to be quite vincible. Nonetheless, it is the very Gazans alone who are thus far paying the price of the axes conflict and the redrawing of alliances.

Suleimani openly said, "We are lovers of martyrdom; and martyrdom for the sake of Palestine and al-Quds is the wish of every dignified Muslim."
Before him, Nasrallah warned "Israel" of suicide after failure.
Words are important. But actions matter more.
