The Leader of the Hamas al-Qassam military wing vowed in an audiotape that the Palestinian Resistance will not cease fire until its demands are met.
Mohammed Deif's remarks were broadcast late Tuesday on al-Aqsa TV, the satellite station of Hamas. Deif says "there is not going to be a cease-fire as long as the demands of our people are not fulfilled."
"No ceasefire in Gaza before ending [the "Israeli]" aggression and lifting the siege," Deif, the leader al-Qassam Brigades, said in the televised audio message. "We will not accept any compromises."
He further confirmed: "The steadfastness of the Palestinian people is what will bring victory on the battlefield. The enemy is sending its soldiers to certain disaster."
Deif turned to the residents of the Gaza and praised them for their "resilience." He said: "Without your support we would not have reached results. We won't accept interim solutions, and "Israel" must know that it send its troops to hell."
Hamas has demanded that the Zionist entity lift a blockade it imposed on Gaza since 2007.
Deif's voice was recognizable in the audio statement. He has survived repeated "Israeli" assassination attempts.
