Brazil Recalls Ambassador to Tel Aviv, Condemns ’Israeli’ Aggression on Seized Gaza

Brazil has recalled its ambassador from Tel Aviv over the "Israeli" regime's "disproportionate use of force" in its persisting brutal military aggression against the Palestinian population of the seized Gaza Strip.

The Brazilian Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on its website on Wednesday: "We strongly condemn the disproportionate use of force by "Israel" in the [seized] Gaza Strip, from which large numbers of civilian casualties, including women and children resulted." 

"The ambassador of Brazil in Tel Aviv was called to Brasilia for consultations," the statement added.

Brazil is the second country to recall its envoy from "Israel," following Ecuador's move earlier this week.

The measure comes on the 17th day of a brutal "Israeli" onslaught on the besieged Gaza Strip, which has martyred more than 700 Palestinians.

The Gaza Health Ministry and international human rights agencies say that more than 80 percent of those martyred in seized Gaza have been civilians, many of them women and children.
