"Israel" under an air siege. After the successive defeats on ground, "Israeli" space is suffering a severe blow.

Gaza Rockets Impose Air Siege on ’Israel’ As the Palestinian resistance rockets continue to shell near the "Israeli" Ben-Gurion Airport, the Americans and the Europeans find no way out but to warn their citizens from traveling to the Zionist entity.
"Israel" felt the pressure.

Quickly, "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appealed to Secretary of State John Kerry to restore flights.

"Israeli" Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz announced on Wednesday that Tel Aviv would be opening the Ovda Airport as an alternative to Ben-Gurion Airport.
In practical terms, "Israel" was seized by whom it's seizing.

No airline that operates at Ben-Gurion Airport has given its approval or agreement to move its flights to Ovda Airport yet.

Ovda Airport's ability to take in civilian flights is limited, and it is not prepared for landings of wide-body aircraft.
Meanwhile, 4,000 Turkish passengers who were supposed to arrive into the Zionist entity remained in Istanbul as they refused to fly to Ovda Airport because they did not want to enter "Israeli" airspace.

Moreover, the European Aviation Safety Agency warned from flying to "Israel". Thus, it joined the American FAA's warning and canceled all flights to and from Europe for 36 hours, in comparison with the 24-hour banning of flights to and from "Israel" by the Americans.

Since 7 pm Tuesday, more than 80 flights in and out of Ben Gurion were been canceled.
"Israeli" officials had criticized the FAA move to announce a ban on flights.
"We regret the decision of the US FAA. We think it was inappropriate, even according to their own rules,'' Katz told reporters on Wednesday. "There was no reason to stop flights to and from Ben Gurion. The airport is safeguarded.''

Isabelle Arthur, a spokeswoman for Montreal-based Air Canada, said Wednesday's Air Canada flight from Toronto to Tel Aviv was canceled, as well as a flight that was to depart the "Israeli" city for Canada on Thursday.

"We will continue to evaluate the situation going forward, and provide updates as needed," Arthur said.
