Three ’Israeli’ Soldiers Arrested For WhatsApp Leak on Other Soldiers’ Deaths
Local Editor
The Zionist military police arrested three "Israeli" soldiers on Tuesday who they suspect are behind leaking the names of 13 slain Golani soldiers on the social media application WhatsApp before the families were notified, Channel 2 reported.
The three soldiers purportedly leaked the names of Golani soldiers killed in the Shejiya massacre this week on Saturday and image of their coffins being sorted via the instant messenger service.
A number of relatives and close friends heard the news from the message, hours before the army contacted them officially.
In addition, some names were mistakenly added to the list, leading families to believe they had lost someone.
The "Israeli" War Forces has reaffirmed that circulating information on social media and messaging apps is an offense.
