’Israelis’ Storm Al-Aqsa Courtyards for 2nd Day"Israeli" settlers broke into the courtyards of the holy, under heavy cover by "Israeli" Police who allowed them entry through al-Magharbeh Gate leading to the Buraq Wall in Occupied al-Quds.

The "Israeli" Police is maintaining tight siege on al-Aqsa and banning Palestinians from entry, as Palestinian radio stations said.

"There are tight security measures imposed since yesterday [Sunday] in the parameters of al-Aqsa Mosque and also al-Quds City, which is currently gripped by a state of high tension."
Extremist "Israeli" groups had been calling for several days for a break-in into al-Aqsa to mark Jewish Easter, an undertaking that has been foiled several times in the past by Palestinians who are staying at the Mosque at all times.

Meanwhile, the radio stations also reported that the "Israeli" police arrested about 40 Palestinians yesterday on the pretext of confrontation with the extremists, whom they were trying to keep out of the holy mosque.

In support of the extremists' plans, "Israeli" courts issued expulsion orders against a number of Palestinians who took part in defending the holy site, banning them from al-Aqsa and Old al-Quds.
Over the past few days, hundreds of al-Quds citizens and groups of Palestinians took to the Aqsa Mosque and remained there around-the-clock to counter "Israeli" extremists' break-in plans.

The "Israeli" government issued several threats over the past few days saying that it would impose new and tough punitive measures against Palestinians taking part in such defensive action. The measures include administrative detention.
The "Israeli" threats and attacks on Palestinians on Muslim or Jewish occasions has been repetitive in the holy land and holy sites in Occupied al-Quds.
