Anti-US protest Ahead of Obama Visit in Brussels

A group of Amnesty International activists demonstrated against the US ahead of the planned visit of US President Barack Obama, according to a Belgian news agency in Belgium on Tuesday.

Members of Amnesty International, the human rights organization, called for European leaders to talk about the plight of prisoners at Guantanamo, the US death penalty and the use of US assassination drone strikes against other nations.
Director of Amnesty International, Philippe Hensmans, explained: "Even if Mr. Obama has promised once again to be more transparent in the use of drones, unfortunately it is still going on, they are still killing civilians."
The protesters also criticized Obama for failing to make good on his campaign promise of shutting down America's notorious Guantanamo prison in Cuba.
Obama will be attending the EU-US summit in Brussels on Wednesday.
