Leader of the National Front, a rightist party in France, accused the government of Francois Hollande of supporting terrorism and al-Qaeda in Syria.
Marine Le Pen, who is sternly against extremist Islamists, openly criticized the French government of backing Salafist terrorists operating in Syria.
She regretted that some other European countries have also taken the same path and support terrorism.
Speaking on Europe1 TV network, Le Pen said Francois Hollande has turned France into a slave of countries like Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
She described some European countries' move to send weapons and financial aid to terrorists as a political, moral and historical mistake by these countries, especially France.
The French government has backed Syria's terrorists since the start of the unrest in the country and has recently pushed for military intervention in Syria.
