Yemen's major cities have been witnessing since last week a number of rallies where people took to the streets to voice solidarity with the Syrian people and rejection of any intervention in or attack on Syria.
On Sunday, crowds gathered in Aden in south the country on the occasion of the Southern Army Day, whereby they hoisted photos of Syrian President Bashar Assad and chanted anti-attack slogans.

In the capital, Sanaa, scores of demonstrators protested a likely attack on Syria by the US and its allies in front of the Syrian embassy. They also demurred on the fresh threats leveled by western and US officials of targeting military sites in Syria over claims of chemical weapons' use by the Syrian regime.
Protesters waved national Syrian flags and hoisted banners lambasting US interference in the Arab affairs.

Moreover, they slammed the disgraceful role of the Arab states with respect to the western threexpressed their support for the Syrian people in the face of the conspiracies they said they were concocted against the nation.
They also said that there were schemes aimed to fragment the Arab world and that the likely war on Syria was a replica of the Iraqi scenario. They warned these wars were disastrous to the entire region.

"Targeting Syria is a completion to striking the Arab armies which menace the existence of the Zionist entity," demonstrators said in a statement
Anti US attack rallies were also reported in Saada and Dhamar.
