In details, the mass grave contained charred and decomposed bodies, in the villages to which the army restored security and stability.

Meanwhile, a source told SANA that some of the bodies have been identified by the victims' families while others were not identified as their bodies were too charred.
Coroner Ali Ali, who examined the bodies found in the mass grave, said the bodies are of men, women and children in a state of decomposition, and that their features are completely gone.

Ali told the Syrian TV that the causes of death varied, as some of the victims were stabbed with sharp objects, while others had their throat slit, and some were shot to death.

For its part, the "Independent Syrian Observatory" clarified that "among the bodies found in the cemetery are a lot of charred women and children."

Earlier at dawn, armed terrorist groups infiltrated a number of villages in the northern countryside of Lattakia and committed massacres against the citizens.
Meanwhile, a number of residents highlighted that the armed terrorist groups killed entire families, stressing that they would resist these groups until the last moment of their lives.

It is worth mentioning that more than two hundred bodies of villagers were found killed in the countryside of Lattakia, where the corpses were withdrawn after the entrance of the Syrian Arab army.

The bodies were distributed to the Military Hospital, the National Hospital "al-Assad" Hospital and other private hospitals in the governorate.
