Houthis in Yemen took to the streets of the capital Sana'a to demand justice for those who were killed by regime forces last month, Press TV reported.

On Friday, demonstrators called for the regime's downfall and an end to US intervention in their country that steals Yemen of its sovereignty, and demanded the release of all political detainees.

Protesters are to stage demonstrations every Friday until their demands are met, in which one protester told Press TV, "We are ready to bring forth more martyrs and continue with these demonstrations for the sake of restoring honor and dignity and to bring all criminals of National Security to justice."

On June 9, National Security guards opened fire on a group of protesters, killing 13 and wounding a hundred others during a demonstration demanding the dismantling of the National Security Intelligence Agency in Sana'a because of its suppression of political activists under the ousted Ali Abdullah Saleh's reign.
