Egypt's Ambulance Authority head revealed that the clashes have killed 30 people and injured almost 1,150 others.
This took place in clashes between opponents and supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsi and in clashes between pro-Morsi protesters and security forces in the North African country, according to Egyptian Health Ministry officials.

In the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, the fierce clashes between rival protesters erupted after Friday prayers over this week's ouster of Morsi in a military coup, the official MENA news agency reported.
In the capital Cairo, security forces shot dead three pro-Morsi demonstrators on Friday outside the headquarters of the Republican Guard that provoked deadly clashes between the protesters and the forces.

The Egyptian army announced that it would intervene to cease the clashes that erupted between the two parties.
"The army does not take part in the confrontations, and his main concern and mission is to protect the protestors of the two parties," Colonel Arkan Ahmad Ali told Agence France Presse.

In addition, a number of militants north Sinai attacked the governorate headquarters and waved black flags over it. Media reports mentioned that the army and security troops withdrew from the attacked building.
The Egyptians launched the revolution against the pro-Israeli regime on January 25, 2011, which eventually brought an end to the 30-year dictatorship of Mubarak on February 11, 2011.
