Al-Quseir Residents Celebrate Their Return Home, Deir Ezzor Clean From Terrorists

Residents in al-Quseir city and its neighboring villages assembled to the city's Main Square to celebrate returning to their homes after the Syrian army had completely cleaned the highly strategic area from armed terrorist groups.

Homs governor, Ahmad Munir Mohammad said that the victory in al-Quseir would be bolstered by rehabilitating what has been destroyed by terrorists and resuming work at the public and service institutions there.

For his part, al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Regional Secretary in Lebanon, Fayez Shukr congratulated the Syrian people for the victory in al-Quseir, affirming that Syria's triumph dealt a severe blow to the Zionist project.

Moreover, Former Lebanese MP, Hassan Yaacoub stated that Syria's enemies sought to destroy Syria but failed "because of the Syrian people's steadfastness and the Syrian army's bravery."

On this note, a unit of the armed forces on Sunday had foiled an attempt by an armed terrorist group to infiltrate into the Syrian territories from Turkey through the Lattakia's countryside, a military source told Syria's official news agency SANA.

Furthermore, the Syrian army seized a car loaded with 10 "Israeli"-made Lao rockets in addition to 2 mortars and a number of explosive devices in Jaramana in Damascus Countryside, SANA reported.

Al-Quseir Residents Celebrate Their Return Home, Deir Ezzor Clean From TerroristsLikewise, the Syrian Army restored security and stability on Sunday to the of al-Muwazafin neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor and large parts of al-Rashdiye and al-Jbaileh neighborhoods after eliminating the last hideouts of terrorists and dismantling the explosives they had planted.

On this note, Deir Ezzor Governor Fawaz al-Saleh called upon citizens who were displaced from these areas to return to their homes, affirming that the Governorate has begun performing maintenance of water, sewage and electricity networks, clearing rubble and cleaning streets so that normal life may be restored there.

Also, the Syrian Army was successful in eliminating several hideouts and ammunition of armed terrorist groups in many areas in Damascus, Damascus's countryside, Daraa countryside, Homs, Jisr al-Shughour, and Aleppo.
