A congressional report has exposed that the United States has stockpiled $800 million worth of weaponry and arms in "Israel" ‘in case of emergency'. The report, revealed in April 2012, revealed that the amount may increase by 50%. That is to $1.12 billion, merely for emergency.
The deal also allows "Israel" to use these artilleries in case of a military emergency. "Israeli" news source ‘Haaretz' emphasized this as reassurance of "America's commitment to "Israel's" security."
The agreement was signed by head of the ""Israel" War Forces" technology and logistics branch Brig. Gen. Ofer Wolf, and Rear Admiral Andy Brown, the logistics director of US Army European Command.
Missiles, armored vehicles, aerial ammunition and artillery ordnance are of the many supplies stockpiled in the ‘emergency reserves on the occupied land. The need for this stockpiling was apparently good for "Israel", whose "Stores of aerial and artillery ammunition were depleted during the Second Lebanon War in 2006, nearly reaching levels the IDF considers dangerously low."
The report also articulates that the United States gave authorization during the Second Lebanon War in 2006 for the ‘IDF' to utilize some of the ordinances.
The initial value of the equipment stored in "Israel" was apparently $100 million, but it cultivated to $800 million only two years ago. An amendment to a Congressional law now permits the value of the ‘emergency backup' to be increased to $1.12 billion.
