Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said that the Iranian nation by relying on teachings of late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, managed to provide the world with a successful model.
On Sunday, Imam Khamenei gave a speech to a large crowd of people gathered at the mausoleum of late Imam Khomeini in southern Tehran.

"The Iranian nation will continue to step in the same path to reach the peaks of advancement. It goes without saying that the future will surely be better for the Muslim nations, including the Iranian nation," Ayatollah Khamenei added.
He pointed out that the Iranian nation managed to see through their own eyes the realization of many of the divine offerings such as victory of the oppressed people over tyrants.
"The Iranian nation overcame all political, military, security and economic challenges that were created with the aim of destroying the Islamic system," the Supreme Leader added.

Imam Khamenei also said that the only effect these unilateral and multilateral sanctions have on the Iranian nation is that they deepen hatred towards the West in the heart of our people.

Imam Khamenei further went on to say "The obstacles enemies are creating in our path won't have any effect. Sanctions are ineffective. Sanctions can't stop the Iranian nation from moving forward".
"What the enemies of Iran fear, is not a nuclear Iran but the Islamic Iran," he added.

Imam Khamenei warned "Israel" of thunder if the Zionist entity attacks the Islamic Republic, stressing that talks about an Iranian atomic danger is based on a lie.
If the Israelis "make any misstep or wrong action, it will fall on their heads like thunder," Imam Khamenei said.

Every year, millions of Iranians from across the country travel to Tehran to pay tribute to the late founder of the Islamic Republic.
