Salehi Congratulate Sayyed Nasrallah on Liberation Day
The Secretary General of Hizbullah His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah received Wednesday a congratulatory cable from the Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on the occasion of the "Resistance and Liberation Day".
The Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi handed Wednesday the cable, which read:
With all respect, I congratulate the brave men of the Islamic resistance, the beloved and noble people of Lebanon and the Lebanese government on the 12th anniversary of the resistance victory on the Zionist occupiers. This triumph led to the defeat of the Zionist usurpers and their humiliating withdrawal from Southern Lebanon.
What the resistance enjoys, today, from pride and what the Zionist enemy suffers from escalating humiliation is ascribed definitely to the legacy of Imam Khomeini's values , the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic revolution His Eminence Imam (Ali) Khamenei, the sacrifices of Hizbullah's leadership, the pure blood of the martyrs, as well as the patience and fortitude of their dear families.
The enemies of the Islamic Resistance and lovely Lebanon are unable to understand the greatness of this victory and the secret of their [enemies] heinous defeat. Thus, they seek to undermine the strength of the Lebanese resistance and the people's steadfastness through agitating sedition.
However, they failed to acknowledge that the wisdom of your Eminence leadership parallel to the awareness of the Lebanese government, officials, head of political parties, and sects will fail all hostile plots and transform them into despair and frustration.
In response, Sayyed Nasrallah thanked the Iranian Foreign Minister for his congratulatory cable. His Eminence hailed Iran's role in supporting the resistance. He further affirmed the determination of Hizbullah and all who seek right to remain steadfast and proceed in this track.
