Imam Khamenei: Security Essential Requirement of Iranian Society

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei met with senior commanders and personnel members of Iran's security forces in Tehran on Sunday noon.
During the meeting, Imam Khamenei pointed out that security is one of the most essential requirements of the society, which prepares the ground for the country's progress, said the official website of Imam Khamenei.
"If a society lacks security, there will be no guarantee that any organized action will be taken to promote and develop that society," Ayatollah Khamenei stressed.
Imam Khamenei also highlighted that the commanders and personnel members of Iran's security forces had to prioritize the interests of the organization over those of the individuals so as to ensure the advancement of the country.
Prior to the Imam Khamenei's remarks, Iran's police chief Brigadier General Esmail Ahmadi-Moqaddam presented a report on the performance of the personnel under his command as well as a report on combatting crimes and drug trafficking, decreasing traffic issues and accidents, and enhancing services to the Iranian people.
