The following are the Islamic-Resistance operations that took place during the month of July in 1994..

Islamic Resistance Performs 27 Operations in July, 1994

The Islamic Resistance fighters have again conquered the occupation forces and agents. They have delivered another painful coup to the enemy, deriding the threats and declarations the Zionists have been issuing.

Anew, the fighters, allegiant to Imam al-Hussein (Literally: "The Benevolent Imam"; the third Imam of Messenger Muhammad's Household (Pbut)), also inspired by his martyrdom in Karbala', have penetrated the enemy's procedures. They have proved once more that "Israel" can never frustrate the fighters.

Again, the Islamic Resistance has been victorious, razing the occupation sites in ar-Rihan.

Here is the classification of these operations in accordance with the monthly report of the Islamic Resistance Operation Chamber:

In July, 27 operations have been performed as such: 18 cannonades, 5 attacks, 2 explosive bombings, an ambush, and a sniping operation.

Fire Backup Unit Targets Sojod Site, July 1, 1994

The fighters have continued to target the Zionist-Lahd sites. A statement of the Resistance has declared:
"On Tuesday, July 1, 1994, at 5:05 p.m., the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit's barrage struck Sojod Site, causing it severe casualties."

Heroic Operation Targets Zionist ar-Rihan Barracks, July 4, 1994

In the beginning of July, the fighters performed a daring, heroic operation against the Zionist ar-Rihan Barracks, a training field, and other sites. The Islamic Resistance has issued this detailed statement:
"The fighters are truly loyal to the brothers martyred in different places of this holy land. The fighters are as well looking forward to leading the Ummah to its uprising.

Marking the Hijri month of Muharram, which symbolizes the glorious martyrdom of Imam al-Hussein (Pbuh) and his companions in Karbala', also commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zein ul-Abideen (Literally: "The Best of Worshippers"; the fourth Imam of Messenger Muhammad's Household (Pbut)), the Islamic Resistance fighters have performed a new, heroic operation.

The Resistance dedicates this operation to the great Ummah, in particular to the martyrs' families, the wounded people, and the captives. Actually, their pains and injuries strengthen the Islamic Resistance and enable it to dwarf the Zionist enemy.
The squadron of martyr Ayman Baalbecki (Alaa) and martyr Jameel Skaf, in addition to the groups of martyr Muhammad Abdul Kareem, martyr Yasser Wureidan, and martyr Imad Rihani, which belong to the Brigade of Ain Kowkab Martyrs, attacked the Zionist ar-Rihan Barracks on Tuesday, July 4, 1994, at 11:20 a.m.

Ar-Rihan Barracks lies at a seven-kilometer distance into the occupied borderline, and it includes the command of the "Israeli" battalion in Jezzine and a back training field."

The statement of the Islamic Resistance has added:
"The Resistance artillerists bombarded the command center, deactivated the telecommunications center, and demolished the cannonade emplacements and the mounds of ar-Rihan Barracks. They burned three Merkava tanks, too.

Meanwhile, other Islamic-Resistance heroes were shelling the training field of the "Israeli" battalion aforementioned. The troops had been training to shoot.
Stunned by the fighters' tactics, also unable to receive any reinforcements during the twenty-two-minute attack, the enemy suffered grave casualties.

The fighters, however, did not leave the operation zone until they were certain they had demolished the enemy's constructions and vehicles and had killed or wounded each of the troops. The fighters could confirm there were twenty casualties at least."

The statement has added:
"At the same time, other Islamic Resistance groups were cannonading ar-Rihan Barracks, in addition to the Zionist-Lahd sites of Sojod, Bir Kallab, Aramta, al-Aychieh, Kfarhouna, and az-Zaffatah.
Thus, the fighters completely ceased their fire, damaged their constructions, and set them on fire. They as well burned a T-54 tank at the Lahd ar-Rihan Barracks"
The statement has ended with what follows:

The Islamic Resistance presents this victory to its gentle, steadfast people and to the souls of its grand martyrs, mainly those of Ain Kowkab.
To the Muslim's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei (May God keep him), to the souls of sacred Imam Khomeini and the Master of the Islamic Resistance Martyrs Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi, the Resistance again vows it shall keep striking the enemy until achieving victory.
The Resistance asks the Lord to bestow His grace on it."

Furthermore, the Resistance sources have declared that the Resistance is applying a new tactic by carrying out unexpected attacks at settings the enemy doesn't predict.
"Operation ar-Rihan" resembles "Operation al- Khardali". In both, more than a group entered barracks lying in the occupied lands, participated in a battle that lasted for more than twenty minutes, and then safely withdrew.
The sources have added that the troops in the training field suffered grave casualties. The troops had also used this field as a playground for football and other sports.

During the operation, over ten soldiers were practicing shooting without any precaution. So as the fighters shot them, the soldiers were helpless at defending themselves. Instead, some hid behind some mounds or vehicles. Some others even ran away from the barracks.
Upon the statements of fighters participating in the operation, the sources have reported that over twenty soldiers at the Site were either killed or wounded.
The sources have pointed out, too, that the enemy concealed the real number of casualties.

As for the agents' channel, it has acknowledged the death of two "Israeli" soldiers and the wounding of two others during the operation against ar-Rihan Barracks.
The channel has as well acknowledged that the sites of Sojod, al-Ghezlan, ar-Rihan, Kfarhouna, and al-Aychieh were machine-gunned and bombarded with anti-shield projectiles during the operation.
The sources added that al-Jamoussa Site and the Lahd Tallousseh Site were bombarded with 81 mm and 120 mm mortar.

Islamic Resistance Attacks ar-Rihan Barracks, Kills "Israeli" Lieutenant, July 6, 1994

The artillerists have continued to deliver coups to the Zionist enemy troops at ar-Rihan Barracks. Here is the statement the Resistance has issued regarding the operation:
"On Thursday, July 6, 1994, at 3:15 p.m., the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Hussein Nasser, corresponding to the Fire Backup Unit, monitored reinforcements the Zionist enemy had just brought to ar-Rihan Barracks.

The enemy was actually planning to intensify its aggressions against the residential villages and terrorize the civilians.
Therefore, the Resistance artillerists' barrage struck the reinforcements, making the Zionist troops suffer severe casualties."

"An "Israeli" officer was killed in an attack Hizbullah carried out," a Zionist spokesman acknowledged. The spokesman said that a missile launched against ar-Rihan Barracks in the occupied borderline's Middle Sector had killed the officer, whose name and rank he kept anonymous.
He added that the attack had wounded a Lahd agent.

Another "Israeli" spokesman mentioned that the Zionist officer killed had been Lieutenant Judah Grabli. The spokesman also said, "A Sagger missile Hizbullah launched against ar-Rihan Barracks killed the lieutenant."
As for the Lahd Militia, it pointed out that six missiles and several 81 mm and 120 mm mortar projectiles had been launched against the "Israeli" barracks.

Fire Backup Unit Targets Tallousseh Site, July 13, 1994

To defend the Lebanese people and land, also to sustain jihad, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit monitored Zionist moves at Tallousseh Site. The fighters opened fire on the site garrison on Thursday, July 13, 1994. As a result, the garrison suffered grave casualties.

By now, some facts had been revealed as to the results of the heroic operation the Islamic-Resistance fighters had performed against ar-Rihan Barracks; whereby the enemy's channel reported that Officer Judah Grabli (22 years old) had been killed during an attack the Resistance had performed against "Israeli" troops.
The channel reported, "Grabli graduated from a faith school, and he successfully finished an officer training session."
The channel added that the students' council of the faith schools of "the Akeefa Clan", to which Grabli belonged, was working in accordance with the "Israeli" military's plan.

The channel also reported that another member of the council had been killed two days ago at ar-Rihan Barracks, too. He had been a soldier of the Golani Brigade** and had worked as an instructor at the faith school of "the Akeefa Clan".
Furthermore, the Zionist channel reported, "The soldiers are usually busy constructing fortifications and oiling vehicles and heavy equipment at the Barracks.

In spite of the prevailing silence, three soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade of the Golani Brigade have been killed in three accidents. But the investigations state that Hizbullah was beyond their death."

Resistance Attacks Zionist Brigade at Braachit Site, July 17, 1994

The fighters struck a Zionist replacement brigade the enemy had brought as instead of the Lahd troops serving at Braachit Site. A statement of the Resistance has declared the details of the daring operation as follows:
"Once again, the Islamic Resistance has conquered the Zionist-occupation forces. Actually, the enemy has failed at building defensive tactics against the Resistance's attacks."

The Islamic-Resistance statement added:
"Commemorating the martyrdom of Imam al-Hassan (Literally: "The Beneficent Imam"; the second Imam of Messenger Muhammad's Household (Pbut)), the Islamic-Resistance fighters attacked a Zionist brigade at Braachit Site on Sunday, July 17, 1994, at 5:10 a.m.
Having arrived along with five vehicles, the brigade was supposed to replace the Lahd troops serving at the site. Yet, the Zionist brigade collapsed and was completely helpless at defending the site against the Islamic Resistance's barrage.

The Resistance artillerists clashed with the Zionist brigade for forty minutes.
The fierce clashes resulted in wounding several enemy soldiers and killing others. The Resistance artillerists as well demolished some vehicles, in addition to the site mounds, fortifications, and constructions, setting the site on fire."
In a statement, the Islamic Resistance announced the martyrdom of a fighter who has joined the Heavenly Firmaments:

"Very proudly, the Islamic Resistance offers a new sacrifice of its heroic fighters. To the Ummah and to the Supreme Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei (May God keep him), the Resistance announces the martyrdom of fighter Hussein Ali Abdullah (Military name: Ossama), who was martyred at the dawn of Sunday, July 17, 1994 while attacking a Zionist brigade at Braachit Site.

The Islamic Resistance has offered a résumé of martyr Hussein Ali Abdullah:
- He was born in Beirut on January 14, 1970.
- He participated in many Islamic-Resistance operations, the last of which was "Operation ar-Rihan-al Aychieh".
- He joined the Islamic Resistance in 1987."

Again, the fighters attacked the Site on the evening of the same day. A statement of the Islamic Resistance explained the details as such:
"The Islamic Resistance is faithful in Allah the Exalted in Might. The Resistance as well follows the path of the Sanctified Imams of Messenger Muhammad's Household (Pbut).
Commemorating the martyrdom of Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtabah (Literally: "The Chosen Imam"), the Islamic-Resistance fighters performed a second operation against Braachit Site, which they'd earlier attacked.

At 10:40 p.m., the Squadron of martyr Ali Abdullah (Ossama) bombarded Braachit Site, targeting Zionist troops gathered at the site and in the surroundings.
When the fighters performed the second operation, the troops had still been dealing with the aftermath of the operation the Resistance had performed at dawn. The second operation has actually caused grave casualties to the enemy."

The statement has added:
"In the meantime, other Islamic-Resistance groups demolished the site mounds. The citizens of the neighboring villages could see the site burning. For more than thirty minutes, the fighters dominated the battle field.
Meanwhile, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit was counterattacking the Zionist relief forces trying to reach the operation zone. But the artillerists' accurate performance actually prevented the relief forces from doing so and made them retreat."

The statement has ended as such:
"Loyal to their Ummah and to their Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Khamenei, the Islamic-Resistance fighters swear to God they shall keep defending the Ummah's dignity and rights. Their faith in Allah the Exalted in Might will protect them from the Zionists' slyness.
Maintaining solidarity with all fighters of Palestine and the Islamic World, the Islamic-Resistance fighters shall go on until they get martyred or achieve victory."

Resistance Attacks Tallousseh Site, July 21, 1994

The Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit monitored Zionist troops at the newly constructed Tallousseh Site on Thursday, July 21, 1994, at 2:55 p.m. The artillerists' barrage struck the site, killing or wounding a number of troops.

Resistance Artillerists Combat Counter Forces, July 25, 1994

Counteracting after the Zionists had intensively shelled the towns of Iqlim at-Toffah (Literally: "the Apple Region"), the Islamic-Resistance artillerists struck Sojod Site and ar-Rihan Site on Monday, July 25, 1994, at 7:55 a.m. As a result, the garrisons of both sites suffered severe casualties.
On the same day, at 10:10 a.m., the Islamic Resistance bombed an explosive while a Lahd infantry was patrolling along al-Jamoussa Route.

By sunset, the Islamic-Resistance fighters had performed another heroic operation, striking an enemy site three kilometers away from the borders with occupied Palestine. Such a step, in fact, reiterates that the Resistance can strike any occupation site defiling the precious land of Muslims, also that the Resistance can penetrate systems of alarm and early monitoring, as well as other tactics.
Thus, the Resistance can annihilate the enemy convoys and strike all brigades, including the Golani Brigade**.

Actually, the enemy's media has acknowledged that Hizbullah's successful operations overwhelmed the Golani Brigade.
In a detailed statement concerning its fighters' heroic operations, the Resistance mentioned:

"Commemorating the fortieth day of the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussein (Literally: "The Benevolent Imam"; the third Imam of Messenger Muhammad's Household (Pbut)), also marking the first anniversary of the Seven-Day War*, the Islamic Resistance performed a series of heroic operations on Monday, July 25, 1994.
Well schemed, the Resistance operations aimed at striking the reinforcements the enemy had recently brought to the occupied region. Such a maneuver was going to overwhelm the enemy.

As a matter of fact, the timing of these operations, in particular "Operation Tal Nhass-Deir Mimass" (performed at a three-kilometer distance from the borders with Palestine) was crucial. That is, it allowed the Resistance to iterate the choice of resisting the Zionist occupation and of clinging to the Ummah's rights as to the land, waters, security, and refusal to abide by the devilish US hegemony.

Inspired by the heroic battle of Imam al-Hussein (Pbuh) against evil, the Resistance and the steadfast people refuse the treasonous Jordanian-Zionist agreements fostered by the US. The Resistance and the people emphasize that these agreements are obligatory only to their signers.
As for the details of the encounters, at 4:13 p.m., the Islamic-Resistance Brigade of the Captives' Sheikh Abdul Kareem Obeid, which includes the squadrons of martyr Hassan Rammal, martyr Jamal Juni, and martyr Hussein Ramadan, attacked a Zionist relief motorcade on Tal Nhass-Deir Mimass Route, three kilometers away from the borders with Palestine.

Using medium and heavy artillery, the Resistance fighters demolished two Reo trucks and two common cars on which many Zionist soldiers were.
Thus, many enemy soldiers were killed or wounded and several other vehicles were damaged."

The statement added:
"The Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit razed the enemy sites of al-Azieh and Tal Nhass, in addition to Shkief Fort, destroying their mounds and fortifications and causing casualties to their garrisons. That way the Unit prevented them from reinforcing the targeted motorcade.

In the meantime, the squadron of martyr Hussein Muhammad Nasser, of martyr Muhammad Fadlullah Shuman, and of martyr Ali al-Moussawi, which corresponds to the Brigade of Ain Kowkab Martyrs, struck a Merkava tank and completely burned it while it was leaving at-Taybeh Site to back the convoy targeted by the Resistance men. The attack also destroyed the site fortifications and constructions.

While the fighters were combating the Zionist enemy at at-Taybeh Site, the squadron of martyr Muhammad Asaad al-Moussawi, martyr Ali Taha, and martyr Ali Towqa, which corresponds to Brigade of the Seven-Day-War Martyrs, violently attacked al-Kantara Site.
The fighters destroyed another Merkava tank about to leave the site and back the targeted Zionist convoy on Deir Mimass-Tal Nhass Route.

Each of the tank crewmen was killed or wounded. The tank remained on fire for a long time. The citizens of the liberated towns could see that.
As well, the Islamic-Resistance Fire Backup Unit violently struck the Zionist az-Zaffata Site after the site had randomly shelled the liberated regions. This ceased the site's cannonade and set it on a great fire."
The statement ended: "The steadfast Islamic Resistance shall go on no matter what happens.

The Resistance announces the martyrdom of one of its heroes: Muhammad Hassan Ali Ibrahim (Military name: Abu Mustapha). The martyr confidently arose to his Lord during the confrontations with the Zionist enemy.
Martyr Muhammad Hassan Ibrahim was born in Yohmor. He was married and had three children: Mustapha, Fatima, and Ali.
He joined Hizbullah in 1987, and he chivalrously participated in several jihad operations. He was martyred in the afternoon of Monday, July 25, 1994.

To the Awaited Savior Imam Mahdi (May God hasten his noble reappearance), to the Muslim's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei (May God keep him), and to all martyrs, captives, and wounded people, the Islamic Resistance vows, once again, that it shall sustain the path until the very end."
The media of the enemy and Lahd agents acknowledged that the occupation forces suffered grave losses during the operation of the Resistance and the combat that followed.

The media also pointed out that the "Israeli" First Lieutenant Shy Goldstein (21 years old) had been killed. He lived in al-Hatheera Town and served the Paratroopers Brigade.
Besides, the media acknowledged that twelve soldiers and a major were wounded. The media said the major was in a critical situation.
The deceased officer and the wounded one belonged to the Paratroopers Brigade, a major subdivision of the Golani Brigade**, which was regressing, the media said.

The "Israeli" story on the operation pointed out that Hizbullah heavily cannonaded seven "Israeli" "centers" lying between the contact hub of al-Aychieh Sector and Mount Taher.
While a military convoy was transporting several wounded soldiers from al-Aychieh to Marjeyoun, the convoy was ambushed at Loubieh Hill. Thus, more soldiers were wounded, and three vehicles were burned and later tugged by armored vehicles, the story added.

Explosive Hits Lahd Motorcade on Beit Yahoun-Kownine Route, July 31, 1994

Commemorating the fortieth day of the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussein (Pbuh), the Islamic-Resistance group of martyr Jamaal Shehemi (Military name: Jawad), martyr Hussein Younes (Military name: Abu Jaafar), and Ismail Hamzah (Military name: Ammar) bombed an explosive while a Lahd convoy was on Beit Yahoun-Kownine Route on Sunday, July 31, 1994, at 3:50 p.m.
The motorcade was directly hit. Some Lahd militiamen were killed, and others were wounded.

The sources of the Islamic Resistance confirmed that the explosion hit the car on which the Lahd Chief of Beit Yahoun Crossing Point Haidar Bazzi and five others were. All of the Lahd militiamen were wounded.
Agent Bazzi was the brother of the former chief of the crossing point, "al-Jalbout", who the Resistance executed earlier in 1993 during one of its successful operations against the crossing point.

After the Zionists had combed Kfartibnit Town and the outskirts of Nabatiyeh el-Fawka (Literally: Upper Nabatiyeh), the group of martyr Muhammad Ibrahim (Military name: Abu Mustapha), corresponding to the Islamic-Resistance Sniping Unit, gunned a Lahd militiaman down at Ali at-Taher Site on the same day at 5:40 p.m.
The militiaman was participating in the combing.

Two Islamic-Resistance Fighters Martyred in July, 1994

The Islamic Resistance has announced the martyrdom of two fighters who have arisen to the Heavenly Firmaments. Here is the Islamic-Resistance statement:
"Very proudly, the Islamic Resistance offers a new sacrifice of its heroic fighters. To the Ummah and to the Supreme Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei (May God keep him), the Resistance announces the martyrdom of fighter Hussein Ali Abdullah (Military name: Ossama), who was martyred at the dawn of Sunday, July 17, 1994 while attacking a Zionist brigade at Braachit Site.

The Islamic Resistance has offered a résumé of martyr Hussein Ali Abdullah's life:
- He was born in Beirut on January 14, 1970.
- He participated in many Islamic-Resistance operations, the last of which was "Operation ar-Rihan-al Aychieh".
- He joined the Islamic Resistance in 1987."
As well, the Resistance proudly announces the martyrdom of fighter Muhammad Hassan Ali Ibrahim.

Here is a résumé of martyr Muhammad Hassan Ali Ibrahim's life:
Muhammad Hassan Ali Ibrahim (Military name: Abu Mustapha). The martyr confidently arose to his Lord during the confrontations with the Zionist enemy.
Martyr Muhammad Hassan Ibrahim was born in Yohmor. He was married and had three children: Mustapha, Fatima, and Ali.

To the Awaited Imam al-Mahdi (May God hasten his noble reappearance), to the Muslims' Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei (May God keep him), to all martyrs, captives, and wounded people, the Islamic Resistance vows, anew, that it shall go on until the very end."

*The Seven-Day War, named "Operation Accountability" by "Israel", began when "Israel" assailed Lebanon on the 25th of July, 1993. Confronting "Israel", the Islamic Resistance eventually defeated it.
**The Golani Brigade includes five infantry battalions, and it corresponds to "the Northern Command" of "Israel".
