To the South, eight tour buses with 450 students on board, all took off to share joy and anniversary with the resistance.
With the spirit of adventure, excitement, and eagerness to see something, most of them have not seen before, the trip began.

LAU

Lebanese American University students, from various religions, sects, and political affiliations participated in "A Journey of Pride" each carrying his/her own expectations.
George said, "I've been to the South before, and before seeing it we used to think it's a place full of war."

LAU
"We know many people from the south, and they are exactly the opposite of what we've been told," George continued.
"I am here today to discover this, to have fun, and get to know my country even more," he noted.

On his side, director of "Mount Youth Gathering" at LAU, and member of the Democratic Party outside LAU, Rami Salman considered that, "Such trips are important because they reveal the real Hizbullah image."

LAU
"Satellite channels succeeded in presenting Hizbullah to the world as a Symbol of terrorism, and by this you are fighting back," Rami added.

"By this you are revealing to the world that the Hizbullah resistant is not only a weapon carrier, but he is your friend, colleague, neighbor, in addition to that, he defends his lands," he assured.
The first station was at a lake in Jezzin.
LAU

A van loaded with speakers accompanied the tour buses during their tour, and at every station, the speakers were spread. Hizbullah anthems and His eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's victory speeches were played.
Students had a rough walk to reach the lake.
It was a simple difficulty with respect to what the Mujahedeen go through to protect the people.

LAU

Breakfast was distributed. Students just gathered around in relaxation after the walk, and enjoyed their breakfast in the Southern nature.
On one side of the lake, LAU students sat down to construct the shape of "L" "A" "U" letters.

LAU

From Jezzin off to Sujud, the land where Sayyed Hadi Nasrallah, son of Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was martyred, the land that witnessed strong clashes between resistance fighters and "Israeli" soldiers, complete destruction, resulting in a large number of martyrs, and the killing of a large number of "Israeli" soldiers.

All students gathered at "Imam Khomeini Hussainieh", where LAU student, Jihad Moughnieh gave a speech, welcoming everyone, and thanking "Hizbullah Educational Mobilization" in LAU for "being the carriers of arm and pen, the carriers of resistance culture in all fields, and a lit candle in the path of this university."
In the name of LAU students, Jihad presented a symbolic thank you gift for those hardworking students.

LAU

Again, through rough roads, students had a walk to meet a Mujahid who would guide them to the place.
"This is a very sensitive region, with special geographic lands. As His eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah previously stated, God almighty created this land in order to punish the "Israeli" enemy, and defeat it in," the guide said.

"Uneven and tough highlands and lowlands, the resistance fighters used to face difficulty as they come walking to this region, to keep the enemy away, and protect its people," the guide noted.

He explained some strategic details about this land, and the operations that took place there.

This land was completely destroyed by the "Israelis", yet with the resistance fighters' sacrifices, victory was achieved, he said.

The guide explained how Sayyed Hadi Nasrallah martyred, despite the fact that the number of "Israeli" soldiers was many times more than that of the resistance fighters, yet they did not hesitate standing up for them and confronting them.

LAU

With Hizbullah anthems being played aloud, a military performance took place.
From between students, Mujahedeen came out in trucks, presented modest kinds of arms owned by Hizbullah, and after that the guide noted "it's true that what you saw is the arms we defeated "Israel" with; however, as His eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah previously said, we have surprises, very important ones, and hopefully you will see them in the war."

LAU

A soldier in the Lebanese army wearing civilian clothes, who indicated that he came just to see the place Sayyed Hadi Nasrallah martyred in because of his sincere love to him, said the "Resistance is the honor of every Arab or Muslim."
"The strength and identity of the Arab world was lost due to the loss of Jihad, because Jihad is the honor of our nation. This is why I say that my blood is the blood of resistance against the enemy," he added.

"After seeing this place, I truly wish I could be with those guys," the soldier K. A. expressed.

LAU
On his part, LAU economics professor Dr. Hagop Panosian said, "Our history is full of struggle against a bigger, stronger, and fiercer force, for the sake of this land."
"This is why I cannot but respect every single drop of blood that fell from a resistance fighter defending this land. Any national person cannot but be affected, respectful, and pleased for the resistance," Panosian added.

From Sujud to Nabateyye for lunch, the Pullmans continue.

Students had lunch, and then they celebrated resistance and liberation anniversary.
Director of "Mount Youth gathering" at LAU, and member of the Democratic Party outside LAU, Rami Salman who revealed his ultimate appreciation to every hard worker in Hizbullah gave a speech were he likened the work Hizbullah resistance fighters do, to a "Second major in the university".

LAU
He said, "As they study and live their life normally, they chose to do an additional work, it is to defend their land."

Later, "Free Patriotic Movement" representative at LAU gave a speech that included, "We are here to tell you (Hizbullah) that we support you against the interests of major countries, and against the interests of small beneficiaries. We are here to say thank you for what you have accomplished, and present to you, in the name of "Free Patriotic Movement" at LAU a simple thankful tribute."

Hizbullah representative at LAU R. G. later distributed a gift translating their appreciation for every LAU girl who recently put on the veil.
The final station was at Mleeta, the resistance tourism site inaugurated on Friday.
Students were divided into groups; each with its guide had an informative tour around the place.

Documentaries; "Israeli" tanks, remnants, and war gains; posters for "Israeli" leaders admitting their defeat; strategic maps; monuments, and many other resistance symbols impressed the visitors.

A journalist from Denmark, Frauke said, "I found it very interesting, I'm very amazed with the rebuilding process."

Seeking to learn more about Hizbullah in order to build her own perspective, Frauke said, "I came to this journey because I'm very interested in Hizbullah. When I came to Lebanon I realized that the perception of Hizbullah here is different than its perception of where come from. In Denmark Hizbullah is considered as a "terrorist" organization, but when I came here I  discovered that everybody loves them."

LAU

On his part, supervisor and guide at Mleeta, Hajj Abou Hassan said, during the inauguration on Friday, he witnessed several cases of affection by foreign Journalists.
"When the group reached the space that presented Sayyed Abbas Al Moussawi, a German journalist covered her face and started crying, Hajj Abou Hassan said.

In addition, he remembered, "Another journalist realized a special sacredness to this place, so he took off his shoes, like he is entering a mosque or a praying place."
"This is a little sample of many cases we witnessed in the past 48 hours," hajj Abou Hassan noted.

Jihad Moughnieh, who had a part in organizing this trip said, "We aim at spreading the resistance rare culture in the Arab world."
"Students at LAU, with different backgrounds, are receiving indirect information that present the resistance as terrorism, and we seek to reveal its civilization and education. In addition that it liberated, and accomplished goals that were not accomplished by any Arab regime," Jihad added.

LAU
Regarding the latest speech of His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, when he revealed that Mleeta was Imad Moughnieh's dream, Jihad said, "I'm sure what I feel regarding this place is different from what my father felt. After all, he sacrificed for 25 years, of course he would be more affected."

"However, I could say that I feel a bit of sorrow because he was not present to witness what he worked hard to accomplish, but what condoles us is that he is a martyr, and his value is recognized," Jihad expressed.

At the end of the day, Hizbullah representative at LAU R. G. said this trip was very successful, and due to that, they consider doing it each semester.
R. G. said he observed a great affection especially by colleagues in the "Free Patriotic Movement".

He expressed, "for real, the current coalition between us proves day after day, how solid and strategic it is."

On the other hand, he could not but feel impressed when  accidently hearing one of the participants, from an opposing political party saying, "Thank God we have the resistance."
