"An eye for an Eye" is the new equation of the Islamic Resistance that would shape the next round of confrontation with "Israel".

Two days have passed since His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah gave a speech that not only silenced "Israel" and its officials but also caused confusion among the "Israelis".
Meanwhile, feelings of relief were the ones to prevail on the Lebanese arena except for a few old political foes of the resistance who -as usual- expressed disapproval and rejection of the resistance stance.

Most Lebanese parties and factions do agree that Nasrallah's speech was a good move that unveiled its additional power and reiterated readiness to deter "Israel" in case it decides to launch a new war.

Nasrallah vowed to respond to any action in case the Zionist entity decided to wage a war on Lebanon, stressing that the damage will be great as the movement now owns destructive power that would be used on "Israel's" economic and heavily populated center extending from Haifa to the south of Tel Aviv, for every building "Israel" targets, Hizbullah will destroy buildings and not only cause "humble" damage as in the previous war.

"If you bomb the airport of martyr Rafic Hariri in Beirut, we will bomb Ben Gurion's airport in Tel Aviv," Nasrallah said. "If you bomb our ports, we will bomb your ports. If you bomb our oil refineries, we will bomb your oil refineries. If you bomb our factories, we will bomb your factories. If you bomb our electricity stations, we will bomb your electricity stations," these were the words of Hizbullah Secretary General on Tuesday marking the movement's Martyr Leaders' Day in Dahiyeh (Beirut Southern Suburb).

IN "ISRAEL" SPEECH BANNED and shy comments followed silence

In "Israel", Sayyed Nasrallah's thundering speech was banned and was encountered with silence for the first 24 hours, followed by contradicting statements from confused "Israeli" officials and media outlets.

Nasrallahs' speech on the "deterrence balance" had quite an impact on the "Israeli" public, as the "Israeli" authorities asked reporters and analysts to exercise "self-restraint" and withhold any analysis of the speech's content.

The "Israeli" daily Haaretz published a report about a speech delivered earlier by the Secretary General over obligations towards the civil society and the state while completely ignored Nasrallah's new equation.

Meanwhile, and only a few days after launching threats against Syria, "Israeli" War Minister Ehud Barak -totally ignoring the speech- renewed calls for Syria to return to the negotiations table stressing "we don't need another war."

In addition Yedioth Aharonoth's Website quoted Barak as saying: "I don't advise any neighbor, including Syria, to test us because I am convinced that our mutual interest is to start negotiations."

Unlike war minister, "Israeli" army Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi could not gulp down his words this time either and said that "Israel" was seeking calm on the northern front and that it will strongly and unhesitatingly retaliate against anyone seeking to break the calm over there.

LEBANESE HARMONY OVER SPEECH except for a few

Hizbullah's main political foes, the Lebanese Forces and the Kataeb (Phalanges) Party showed reservation and refused that "Sayyed Nasrallah turns into a military general who speaks on behalf of Lebanon."

Other parties like the Mustakbal (Future) of PM Saad Hariri were divided. Some expressed ‘moral relief' at the speech in which Sayyed Nasrallah stressed Hizbullah was longing for war with "Israel", but it does not want it.
Also the General Secretariat of the March 14 coalition also issued a calm statement on the issue.

Others in the same party questioned the new balance of fear that was set by the Hizbullah Secretary General. Others even went further to defend the speech. MP Samir Al Jisr told Al Nashra News Website that peaceful approaches did not prevent "Israel's" aggression against Lebanon. He added that it was not required that Sayyed Nasrallah faces up "Israeli" threats with an olive branch.

Several figures, especially former PMs Salim Hoss and Omar Karami, praised Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's speech. Hoss stressed after the speech that "Israel" won't make stupid mistakes anymore unless it wanted to test the credibility of Sayyed Nasrallah.
On his part, Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt told As-Safir newspaper in an interview on Thursday that "Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's Tuesday speech was to deliver a message to "Israel" that if it tries to wage war on Lebanon again, [Israel] would fail again."

Jumblatt also said that the Hizbullah leader does not want to fight a new war with Tel Aviv. However, should a new assault take place, Hizbullah is militarily equipped to face "Israel", he added.
First Speaker Nabih Berri said that any "Israeli" war on Lebanon will be the grave mistake of an arrogant state.

Many already acknowledge that the Islamic Resistance and its General Secretariat are credible -to an extent that the enemy admits this credibility- but will "Israel" and its allies learn the lesson that "decapitation campaigns" and "ongoing wars and coldblooded killing" against the resistance will only make it more socially rooted, and only make it stronger?

Answer to your question. . .

It's up to the Israeli public to decide; the change must come from within. It is frightening that Israel has banned Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah's speech. . .very frightening. The storm is coming and it is right on course. Israel must face the truth if they want to see the reality.
