The tasu'a has arrived.. the ninth day of the hijri month of Muharram and people have filled the streets of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iranians across the country mark the day with different rituals and practices. Some stick to reciting eulogies while others perform plays to reenact the tragedy.
