Retired ‘Israeli' Colonel Gadi Shefi, former commander of the elite Shayetet 13 commando unit, was found dead at the age of 76 during a private vacation in Thailand.
Shefi had been missing for over a week before his lifeless body was discovered in a Pattaya hotel room at the weekend.
Shefi, a recipient of the Medal of Distinguished Service, had been commander of the Zionist Navy Unit, one of the primary special operations units and one of the most secretive of the ‘Israel' Occupation Forces.
Shayetet 13 is a unit specialized in sea-to-land incursions, counter-terrorism, sabotage, maritime intelligence gathering, maritime hostage rescue, and boarding.
The unit has taken part in almost all of the ‘Israeli' entity's major wars, as well as other actions and is one of the most secretive units in the Zionist military.
The details of many missions and identities of active operatives are kept highly classified.
