On the occasion of the Martyr's Day, Hizbullah and the al-Shahid [Martyr] Association in Lebanon organized a visit for the fathers of martyrs to one of the resistance sites in the Eastern Mountains.
The tour started with a breakfast in the scout city of Rayak, in which the Hizbullah official in the Beqaa' area Mohammad Yaghi delivered a speech. He praised the families of the martyrs for their sacrifices all over the journey of resistance, and over its long path.
Yaghi also noted that the Resistance today is facing the last round of the Zionist-American-Western-Takfiri project. "As we defeated the Takfiri Zionist occupation project, we will defeat the Takfirists project, and it will fall forever," he asserted.
Later on, the convoy accompanied the fathers of martyrs, who came from all over Lebanon, to the eastern mountainous area, the land of which was watered with the blood of their sons. They were received by a group of resistance fighters, from ground forces and on vehicles, greeting them and performing the pledge of loyalty to them.
Next, a special movie on the heroic fighters' achievements in the battles of the eastern mountains was displayed. It was followed by a resistance officer explaining entirely the path of the military operations and how the Takfiri groups are defeated by the resistance fighters in all battles they were involved along the Lebanese-Syrian borders.
Father of martyr Hassan Alawieh delivered a speech on behalf of the fathers, who pledged to keep up with the resistance path which was followed by their sons. They renewed to Hizbullah's Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah the pledge of adherence to "the resistance that brought us glory and achieved victories." They also showed readiness to offer more sacrifices for its sake, putting themselves at His Eminence's service, stressing that "we will be where we have to be, and where you order us to be."
As the fathers of the martyrs stepped on the ground where their sons were martyred, they took deep breaths, and expressed their feelings to "al-Ahed". The father of martyr Mohammad al-Moussawi, Lawyer Ibrahim al-Moussawi greeted the resistance fighters and their leader, saying he and his family are ready to offer more martyrs for its path, and continue the way to protect Lebanon. He also noted that the Takfiris are continuing the "Israeli's" battle who couldn't defeat the resistance all over history. Hence, the "Israeli" came from the back gate with mediators such as "ISIS" and the other groups to defeat the resistance, because he couldn't triumph over it face to face. Al-Moussawi noted that the battle with the Takfiris is more than necessary, and the sides that are causing distraction now are the same sides that used to say since 1982 that the eye couldn't resist the awl. He stressed that the battle now is a battle of justness, and without the battle and the blood of the fighters, there wouldn't have been a nation, an army or a state; Lebanon would have rather gone with the wind.
On his part, the Head of al-Shahid Association in Beirut, Sheikh Mohammad Nassar told "al-Ahed" how important the tour is, noting that it is a part of a message by the fathers of the martyrs from all over Lebanon to his eminence the Secretary General and to the leadership to offer ultimate loyalty for their rightful and wise decisions, and the readiness of the families of the martyrs not only to offer sons for the sake of Allah and the nation, but also to offer themselves on the way of their sons to keep defending this path and journey.
Sheikh Nassar concluded that these fighters are destined to victory at the end of the day. Everyone will discover that in case Syria fell, Lebanon, Jordan and all neighboring countries would have fallen, and the region would have totally changed, without any dignities saved. He stressed that the American Takfiri project that aims at reassuring "Israel", will be defeated sooner or later.
On his part, in response to "al-Ahed" question, Head of Hizbullah's Media Department in Beirut Hajj Ghassan Darwish mentioned that the tour is part of the fathers' of the martyrs desire to deliver a message to his eminence the Secretary General from the same place where their sons were martyred, stressing that they are keeping up with the path of resistance.
Upon returning, the tour included offering lunch on the honor of the fathers of martyrs. The journey ended up with performing prayers and visiting the shrine of Sayyeda Khawla (PBUH) in the city of Baalbek.
